Maple Secretary
The case of this piece was built using veneered cored Maple
and then banded with solid Maple. The top and sides where then inlayed with Walnut.
The fold down writing surface was built using Birds Eye Maple and Walnut.
I added
Walnut breadboard ends to the writing surface this will insure that the top will
stay flat
The doors are solid Maple with a Walnut strip and a Birds Eye Maple
raised panel..
The Finish is a hand rubbed oil and shellac top coating

is $3950
Similar Secretary with out the inlay made out of solid Red Oak would
be $2450
Similar Secretary made of veneered Red Oak cored lumber would be $1950

The draw section was build using Red Oak, the draw fronts are spalted Maple with Maple hand tuned draw pulls. Music notes are wood burned into the face of each pul. Similar personnel touches can be added to your piece.
